Peng Hua maut selepas bertungkus lumus merawat pesakit Covid-19 tinggalkan isteri sarat mengandung.Lebih menyedihkan, mangsa yang dikenali sebagai Peng Hua, 29 tahun, meninggalkan isteri yang sedang sarat mengandung.Beliau dilaporkan mendapat cuti bagi melangsungkan majlis tersebut, yang tertangguh kerana mengikuti kursus kedoktoran, tetapi dek kerana tugasnya susulan penularan Covid-19, beliau tetap hadir bekerja.
Beliau yang merupakan seorang pakar pernafasan, dijangkiti Covid-19 ketika merawat pesakitnya di Hospital Daerah Jiangxia, dalam Wilayah Wuhan. Bagaimanapun, beliau meninggal dunia pada 9.50 malam waktu tempatan di hospital berkenaan walaupun usaha telah dilakukan oleh semua pihak untuk menyelamatkannya.Salah seorang rakan, Jiang Junxia berkata, Peng dikenali sebagai seorang yang jujur, optimis, bekerja keras dan sentiasa bersedia membantu dalam apa jua situasi.
Sementara itu, isterinya pula berkata, Peng bekerja 48 jam tanpa henti sejak Covid-19 kerana mahu membantu rakan sekerjanya.Peng masih belum berkesempatan untuk menghantar kad undangan perkahwinannya yang masih tersimpan rapi di laci meja pejabatnya.
