This is the lowest reported deaths since July 25.

However, the number of new Covid-19 cases, which was 13,754 yesterday - the lowest since July 22 - has gone back up to almost 25,000.

Selangor recorded the highest number of new deaths at 33, or 28.5 percent of the newly reported fatalities. No new deaths were reported in Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perlis, Terengganu, Labuan and Putrajaya.
