The Health Ministry's KKMNow portal reported that 1,736 of Monday's new Covid-19 cases were locally transmitted while there was one imported infection.
KKMNow also noted that there were 2,118 recoveries from Covid-19 recorded on Monday, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 4,820,355 since the pandemic began.
