Malaysia reported 67 new Covid19 cases on Sunday (May 10), bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 6,656. Read more:
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said out of the 67 cases, 49 were foreigners while the rest were local transmissions.
"There are currently 18 patients being treated at intensive care units with six on ventilator support," he said at the Health Ministry’s daily Covid-19 media briefing on Sunday. Dr Noor Hisham said 96 patients have been discharged in the same 24-hour span, which brings the number of recovered patients to 5,025 since the outbreak began.There are 1,523 active cases being treated at the country’s health facilities at present.Article type: free
