PUTRAJAYA: A total of 63 new Covid-19 fatalities were recorded on Friday (Oct 29), bringing the cumulative death toll to 28,832.
The number of active cases currently stands at 70,058 cases, with 77.2% or 54,090 being patients with mild infections who are undergoing home quarantine.
Another 9,453 or 13.5% patients are those under isolation at low-risk quarantine centres while the number of those being hospitalised are 5,948 or 8.5%. There are currently 267 patients in intensive care units who do not require ventilator support, while another 300 are on ventilators.
