PUTRAJAYA: New Covid-19 cases remain high with 489 cases recorded on Wednesday (Oct 7).
According to a Health Ministry Facebook post, a majority of cases were from the Tembok cluster in Kedah and also red zones in Sabah.No casualties was reported and the death toll remains at 141, or 1.01% of positive cases.So far, the country’s cumulative total cases since the outbreak began in January is 13,993.
There are 40 patients being treated at intensive care units and 13 of them require ventilator support.
