PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has recorded another 153 Covid-19 cases, pushing the tally to 4,683 as at noon Sunday (April 12), with three new deaths bringing the death toll to 76.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that 113 patients had recovered and been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries cases to 2,108.He added that the three people who died all had cases of chronic disease.
Dr Noor Hisham said that there were 2,499 active cases of Covid-19, and that those with the disease were isolated and treated in hospital. Currently, 66 patients are being treated at intensive care units , with 37 of them requiring ventilators.
