Malaysia records 1,509 new recoveries and 1,275 new cases today. Total active cases remaining has dropped to 14,269 and the recovery rate is 95.43%.
Malaysia has recorded 1,275 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 339,443. There’s one new death reported and the death toll is now 1,249.
The Ministry of Health has reported 1,509 new recoveries and a total of 323,925 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is now 95.43% while the mortality rate is now 0.37. There are currently 14,269 active cases remaining which are receiving treatment. 161 are in ICU while 70 require respiratory support.
Out of the 1,275 new cases today, 1,243 are imported while 32 are transmitted locally. Selangor recorded the most with 478 new cases, followed by Sarawak with 213 cases, Pulau Pinang with 137 cases and Johor with 120 cases.
