An Enugu Magistrates’ Court sitting in Enugu North Local Government Area, on Tuesday, remanded a 40-year-old man, Osita Igwe, to the Enugu Correctional Centre for allegedly robbing another resident, Chijioke Mba of his belongings. The robbery was sad to have been carried out on July 5, 2024, at the Ebeano Tunnel, Enugu.
Igwe, whose residential address was not provided, is facing a three-count charge of robbery, to which he pleaded not guilty. The Enugu Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, in case file number MEN/541/2024, informed the court that the defendant committed the offense on the specified date at Ebeano Tunnel, Enugu .
