One person did not survive in the single vehicular crash.
The incident occurred in Adams Township where Lees was called to the crash scene on Rt. 869 on Locust Street near the Rt. 219 interchange. Several local fire departments and medical personnel reported to the scene as well. One person was killed in the single-car crash. After assessing the scene, Lees told, “For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway, struck a pole and then struck a tree. The driver of that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.
Lees also mentioned that the victim’s identity is being withheld for the time being and an autopsy will be performed today to determine a cause of death, according to the news outlet.
