Coronavirus named Covid-19

THE World Health Organisation today said Covid-19 is the new official name for a deadly coronavirus that was first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan on December 31 last year. “We now have a name for the disease, and it’s Covid-19,” WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters in Geneva.
