KUALA LUMPUR: The investigation paper on an individual who allegedly brought a sharp weapon to a scuffle at the KLFA football centre in Desa Melawati has been referred to the deputy public prosecutor.
Wangsa Maju OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Lazim Ismail said police have proposed charging the suspect under Section 6 of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act 1958.ACP Mohammad Lazim said a 22-year-old man, who is the main suspect, was detained along with his 21-year-old foreign girlfriend at a house in Klang on Thursday .
It was reported that police were tracking down a man who allegedly brandished a sharp weapon, believed to be a"kerambit" knife, during a scuffle between two football teams."The complainant claimed that there was a scuffle between his team and a rival team.
