KUALA LUMPUR: Police have new leads in connection with the vandalism of the mural in Shah Alam recently.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Mazlan Mansor said they were confident of solving the case soon."Currently, we have opened one investigation paper into the case, and CID is handling it," he told reporters after launching the Sentul police headquarters on Wednesday .

"Give us time to investigate the case. There are many other matters that we need to look into with regard to this case," he said. Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin said in Parliament on July 21 that police were looking into several angles, including whether it involved criminal intentions.
