Bernama reported Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani as saying they would be filing an application with Interpol over the matter. Meanwhile, Chia who has only reacted to the whole controversy with a few Instagram Stories’ posts last week spoke to CNN where she stood by her joke, but only in its entirety.

Chia herself had uploaded the clip on her Instagram and TikTok afterwhich it was shared far and wide on the Internet, leading to her being criticised.
