MADRID (Reuters) - Spain's data protection watchdog AEPD has ordered the provisional suspension of two planned Meta products set to be deployed in the upcoming European election on its social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, it said on Friday.

KUALA LUMPUR: A full and thorough investigation into allegations that a disabled e-hailing driver was assaulted by an escort from a prominent individual's entourage is being conducted, says the country’s top police officer.

"The priority in each investigation is to ensure no perpetrators escape responsibility for their actions. Strict action will be taken without compromise against any officers found guilty. Earlier, the Regent of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim , stated that he did not condone any illegal action or intimidation and urged the authorities to thoroughly investigate the incident that occurred at the Kuala Lumpur St Regis Hotel.
