Cops recapture 2 Indonesian detainees who escaped

Kulai district police chief Tok Beng Yeow says both the escapees were found within 24 hours in two vegetable farms in Jalan Felda Inas-Kulai. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 12, 2023.

He said both of them had discarded their lock-up uniforms and changed into jeans and T-shirts, believed to have been stolen. “Both escapees received light injuries as a result of jumping out of the van in their attempt to escape,” he said in a statement today.
