.PDRMsia probing alleged leak of Rosmah’s corruption trial ruling
PETALING JAYA: . Sentul police chief Beh Eng Lai said the case was being investigated under Section 8 of the Official Secrets Act 1972 and Section 203A of the Penal Code. Both laws are related to the illegal disclosure of confidential information. The case is also being probed under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities.
The purported leak came less than a week after another leak allegedly of the Federal Court ruling of Rosmah’s husband Najib Razak’s SRC International case appeal ahead of the decision by the apex court on Aug 23. Rosmah was charged with three counts of corruption linked to the RM1.25 billion Sarawak rural schools’ solar energy project.She is accused of soliciting RM187.
