Perak police chief Razarudin Hussain said an initial investigation found that the pistol was reported missing by a police corporal in Tanjung Rambutan on Jan 15. He said at 4.10 am on Jan 24, two local men aged 20 and 27, armed with a pistol, were reported to have committed a robbery at the hotel’s reception counter and fled with cash of RM509.
