Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Rahmat Ariffin said the suspect was also driving under the influence of alcohol and had collided with another vehicle.The case is being investigated under Section 44 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving under the influence of alcohol, which carries a maximum fine of RM20,000 and a maximum jail term of not more than 10 years.
Meanwhile, Johor Fire and Rescue Department Syuhaidy Fazly Yahya said that the car driver only suffered a minor injury and had been rescued by members of the public.Earlier, a 50-second video went viral on social media, showing a lorry driven against traffic before ramming into an oncoming car.
