PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested a repeat offender after he robbed a convenience shop with an air gun.
At a press conference here on Friday , Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said a report was lodged after a robbery on Jan 24.
"The suspect ran off with RM250 in cash and escaped on a motorcycle. The air gun was also fired and a plastic bullet hit the worker on the lip," he said.Among the items seized included a silver air gun that resembled a revolver, and five identity cards belonging to various people. "He was found to be involved in three similar robberies in the Petaling Jaya area. With his arrest we have solved four robbery cases in the district," ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin said.On Feb 3, a lorry was reported missing within the Mutiara Damansara area."Based on information gathered, a police team arrested two suspects aged 27 and 28 at a bus stop in Jalan Persiaran Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin in Kuala Lumpur.
