LUCENA CITY — Police arrested on Wednesday, March 22, an armed drug suspect in Alfonso town in Cavite province.
The Calabarzon police reported on Thursday, March 23, that anti-narcotics agents collared at 10:30 a.m. John Benedict Barbin after he sold shabu to undercover police acting as a drug user in Barangay Luksuhin Ibaba.The suspect yielded four sachets of meth worth P2,000. Authorities also found Barbin carrying an undocumented caliber .38 revolver with three bullets.
The suspect was detained and faced charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and gun laws.
