KOTA KINABALU: Police have opened two investigation papers regarding the viral video of a teenage boy who was beaten up in a school here following two reports lodged.
District police chief ACP Mohd Zaidi Abdullah on Thursday said the two investigation papers were opened under Section 323 of the Penal Code which is punishment for voluntarily causing hurt.
The Kota Kinabalu police station had received the police reports involving the matter on Tuesday , according to him in a statement here. Previously, a 23-second clip was circulating in social media where at least three boys in secondary school uniform were seen hitting and kicking another student."The police will not compromise with any misconduct and criminal acts among students including cases which cause injury as well as bullying cases," added ACP Mohd Zaidi.
