Four suspects, one a foreigner were arrested and several LCD televisions and a car were among the goods seized.
North Seberang Perai district police have crippled"Geng Tabika" after arresting four men, including a foreigner, during a crime prevention operation last week.
"The outcome of the investigation found that they were all involved in tabika and house break-ins in Kepala Batas and Teluk Ayer Tawar," he said in Kepala Batas last night. In yesterday’s Ops Khas Aidilfitri in Butterworth, Noorzainy said a police team arrested a 39-year-old man holding a machete under suspicious circumstances.
He added that two men aged 36 and 37, were believed to be members of the distribution syndicate for the local market.
