PETALING JAYA: Investigations into an armed robbery at a hotel in Dataran Mentari has led to the arrest of one suspect.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal, in a statement, said the 26-year-old security guard was arrested after a raid early Tuesday .
"After the arrest, the suspect led the police to his home in Jalan Kampung Abdullah Hukum. He showed the tools that were used during the robbery. "He confessed that he had robbed the hotel by using a pair of scissors. The money stolen had been returned with the suspect admitting that some had already been spent," he said."Further investigations are being conducted to ascertain his connection with other similar cases in the district," he said.
