Cops: 15 people believed to be involved in immigrant smuggling arrested

“They each play different roles, tekong darat , taking care of ground-related operations , transporters , and water-related operations , “ he told a media conference here today. All suspects will be remanded today to be investigated under Sections 12 and 26C of the Anti-Trafficking In Persons and Migrants Anti-Smuggling Act 2007.
“Problems for the police occurred when the families did not inform the police their children were back home,” he said.
