Cop and lorry driver remanded over RM10,000 bribe

The Penang Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission said in a statement on Friday that the sergeant and a lorry driver were remanded on suspicion of conspiring to ask for and accept the bribe in connection with a theft case .

"Magistrate Mohamad Azlan Basri acting as the court registrar issued the order on Friday at a George Town Magistrate's Court upon application by MACC," the statement read.
