PETALING JAYA: The strong cooperation between parties shown during the Unity Government National Convention should be translated at the grassroots level to ensure political stability, say political analysts.
The convention on Sunday at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur was attended by more than 10,000 people from 19 parties and four pacts within the coalition government, namely Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional, Gabungan Parti Sarawak and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah. Political scientist Dr Mazlan Ali said the convention also showed that the slogan of “No Anwar, No DAP” is no longer relevant among Umno members.
