on 10 counts related to the killings of his ex-wife, Jennifer, and two acquaintances, Jesten Mata and Matthew Miller, in Grants, New Mexico.Lannon was extradited Wednesday from New Jersey State Prison in Trenton and was placed in the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center while he awaits prosecution in the Apostalon case on charges of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.

The district attorney’s office has filed a motion seeking his pre-trial detention, Judge Nina Safier told Lannon during the brief session. She indicated a hearing would be held within five days in district court to consider that motion. Lannon is accused of storing the bodies in plastic crates, which he later moved 80 miles away to Albuquerque.and was known as a handyman who did odd jobs for money, according to family and friends. He allegedly agreed to haul Lannon’s containers to a storage facility, but when they could not find a place to keep the crates, the pair argued and Lannon bludgeoned him to death, authorities said.
