Commentator Antoinette Lattouf is suing the ABC for unfair dismissal after expressing political opinion on social media, despite having different opinions in a previous social media-related incident.

One of the great pleasures of observing humanity is indulging in contradiction spotting. Pay attention long enough – not very long, for the most part – and almost everyone will reveal the moral yoga they are willing to perform with their core principles. One rule for me and one for thee is a source of daily micro-inconsistencies for most of us, while the larger and more morally significant contradictions arise from trying to twist our principles into alignment with our cultural comrades.

She is now suing the ABC for unfair dismissal, for reasons including expression of political opinion relating to the social media post.
