TOKYO (Reuters) -Nintendo said on Wednesday it has received 2.2 million applications in the lottery for its Switch 2 gaming device in Japan but cannot fulfil all the demand.
KOTA KINABALU: Construction of a temporary access road has begun following a landslide that severed the primary route connecting Tamparuli and Kiulu , providing much-needed relief to affected residents and road users.
Kiulu Assemblyman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, who visited the site on Wednesday morning , urged JKR to act swiftly to restore connectivity for the community. "This road is crucial for tourists visiting Kiulu’s eco-tourism destinations. We do not want tourism activities to be disrupted," he stressed.He added that JKR and onsite contractors assured him they are working diligently to expedite the construction of the new access road.
A representative from the Tuaran District Office was present during the site visit to oversee the situation.
