BANGKOK: Tourists and locals were surprised to find the popular Pranburi Beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan littered with mysterious transparent, needle-like creatures on Tuesday (Oct 8).

VIENTIANE: Malaysia and Singapore have reached a consensus and made progress on several outstanding issues between both countries, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim .

According to Anwar, the issues were discussed in a four-eyed bilateral meeting with his Singaporean counterpart Prime Minister Lawrence Wong after the first day of the 44th and 45th Asean Summits and Related Summits in Vientiane, Laos on Wednesday evening. “After nearly 40 minutes, Wong and I discussed several issues related to the interests of both countries, especially on exploring the best methods to resolve ongoing issues effectively and as quickly as possible.“This meeting reached some agreement and progress related to some outstanding issues, which will be discussed further in the annual Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat at the end of the year,” said Anwar in a statement on Wednesday .
