Shannelle Hanson accused of breach of peace and third-degree assault of a pregnant woman following incident at Norwich store.
A Connecticut woman is accused of attacking a pregnant McDonald's worker and yelling that she hopes she loses her baby after becoming irate at staff for getting her order of McChicken wrong.
Hanson claimed that when she was brought her food 10 minutes later, the sandwich had no chicken patty inside. Hanson went inside and claims she was told staff"messed up" her order again. She obtained a refund. The victim states that Hanson then started yelling before going behind the counter in an attempt to make her own food. She then allegedly slapped the woman, who was 29 weeks pregnant at the time. During the confrontation she also allegedly punched the pregnant worker as people intervened to separate them. Hanson is also accused of slapping a male worker while he tried to break the pair up.
The pregnant woman was left with several broken nails and a bleeding finger which she said she suffered while trying to defend herself from Hanson.
