Andile Jali will return to the DStv Premiership next season and is preparing to join his new team ahead of their preseason
Jali had been without a club since he left Swallows at the beginning of the season, as part of their mass exodus. He was thought to have been part of the Swallows contingent that went on strike last year. This strike saw the Swallows players withdraw from their last two games of 2023, which proved costly to the club. The PSL ended up fining the Dube Birds a cool R1 million for failing to honour those fixtures. They did, however, receive the leniency of having R600 000 of it suspended.
That seems to echo what Makaab said last week, saying they were close to finalising a deal for Jali. It now remains to be seen which club it is, that he has enlisted his services.
