KOTA KINABALU: The government should conduct a study on redelineation of parliamentary constituencies in Sabah as there are many areas that are too big to be counted as a single parliamentary constituency.
Nominated assemblyman Datuk Amisah Yassin said this consideration is in line with the commitment to improve and implement the terms under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 .
She said it would be more efficient and beneficial to the people if a redelineation process was initiated for Sabah and Sarawak. She said the ministry can help implement various development programmes for women in terms of economy, upskilling, education, and many more.
