“He was given three weeks to produce a document, and go into detail on what exactly they did to investigate the validity of the document. But thus far, he won’t even admit that they had the document,” Comer said of Wray and the FBI’s cooperation with a House Oversight Committee subpoena that requested information about a record that allegedly details ties between an unnamed “foreign national" and Biden during his vice presidency.“[Wray] has given us the runaround for 3 weeks.
“It is going to look very similar to what the Democrats did with Steve Bannon,” Comer said when asked what contempt of the FBI director looks like. “That was a perfect example of a congressional committee holding someone in contempt of Congress.”
