Election officers conducted ocular inspections in the two schools and stated that they could still conduct voting there.

The Commission on Elections recorded two separate arson incidents in different towns in Maguindanao on Saturday, Oct. 28, or just two days before the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections .

According to the report shared by Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia, the incident resulted in the burning of Grade 1 to Grade 4 classrooms of the said school. No casualty was reported. Garcia said that while two classrooms were burned down, voting in the area won't be affected as the rooms will not be used for the election.
