KUALA LUMPUR: The 39-year-old Crackhouse Comedy club co-founder will be released from police custody on Friday evening."The police initially applied for a four-day remand order but we objected to that. The magistrate agreed and allowed a one-day remand order.
Police force secretary Deputy Comm Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin had said the suspect was arrested on Thursday . Several police reports were lodged against the suspect following a woman's controversial performance recently at the club. Siti Nuramira Abdullah, 26, and her boyfriend V. Alexander Navin, 38, pleaded not guilty to three charges in two separate courts.
