KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is encouraging former GISB members to come forward to assist investigations, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain .
The Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director said that information from these former members is important to the success of Ops Global. "Some former members have already reached out to us. Aligning their information with current leads can be challenging due to the time elapsed, but every detail is valuable," he added at a press briefing at the Police Training Centre on Thursday .
Comm Mohd Shuhaily is also appealing to current GISB members who have absconded to present themselves. "Many GISB properties were empty during raids, suggesting members fled the scene. Some of these areas are now affected by floods, and so we ask these individuals to come forward to enable us to provide help," he said.GISB case: Three ministers to table findings in ParliamentSTEM education crucial in preparing Malaysia's youth for digital creative industry, says Teo
