But the White Sox frequently have players talk first and let Grifol cool off, as was the case again Wednesday. “You question what you’re doing and why you’re doing it and then you’re making choices,” he said. “For us, it’s about choosing to be positive and prepare to win.”Forget 300 career wins. Even 200 wins for an MLB pitcher might be a thing of the past.
Grifol said the Sox needed to “continue to grind and continue to get creative,” adding there was “no magic remedy” and no “magic wand” to fix things.
