Police have charged Tae Von Bush, 19, of Hilltop, with the murder of 23-year-old Tabias Cunningham.
Columbus police arrested the suspect accused of killing a 23-year-old man at a gym on Columbus' Far West Side near Hilliard last month.
Police charged Tae Von Bush, 19, of Hilltop, with the murder of 23-year-old Tabias Cunningham, who police allege Bushof Hillard Rome Road in Columbus. Bush turned himself in to police headquarters Thursday. Columbus police responded to the Esporta Fitness off Hilliard Rome Road around 8:45 p.m. on March 28 on a report of a shooting. Inside they found one person, who was taken to Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center. That person, identified as Cunningham, of the Far West Side, died at 9:37 p.m. at the hospital.
The shooting sent gym patrons scrambling for an exit and the gym remained closed for hours after the shooting.
