Columbus Jewish Day School is focused on providing hope and stability for students amid war in Israel. Columbus Jewish Day School welcomed students back to class on Tuesday. It was the first time students and teachers were all reunited sinceRabbi Morris Allen, the interim head of CJDS, said the school used the opportunity to gather students together and demonstrate that the Jewish community is filled with hope and praying for peace.
Allow students to drive the conversation about how much and what kind of information they want to know The letter also stated that the CJDS staff is prepared to attend to the unique emotional needs of students, particularly those with family and friends in Israel. Morris added several CJDS faculty members had loved ones in Israel."Some of our faculty are from Israel and many have family in Israel," Morris said. "We are asking our families to reach out to the teachers too. It's a two way street. We have to be sensitive all the way around.
