The Indianapolis Colts sign cornerback Tony Brown, who played on two CFP national championship teams at Alabama.

Brown started the 2021 season on the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad. Released on Oct. 5, Brown signed on with the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad on Oct. 13. The Raiders released Brown on Nov. 1 but re-signed him for their practice squad on Dec. 23, and he finished the season there.

Brown went to training camp with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2018 as an undrafted rookie. After the Chargers released Brown at the end of the preseason, he landed on the Green Bay Packers’ practice squad before being signed for the active roster in the fourth week of the 2018 season. Brown was on the field for 47 defensive snaps and 136 special-teams plays in 2019 after having 287 defensive snaps and 178 special-teams plays in 11 games with Green Bay in 2018.

The Bengals claimed Brown off waivers on Dec. 30, 2019, after Green Bay released him the day before its final regular-season game.
