Colorado is about to get its first taste of winter as a cold front Wednesday night starts a round of snow and cold temperatures.
The mountains, mainly northern ones, will get the first big snow event starting Wednesday night through Thursday night, with up to 14 inches of snow expected in some areas. A winter weather advisory is in effect from Wednesday evening to Friday morning.
