CU Athletics said this month's Black and Gold Weekend promises to set a new standard for spring games with a concert and talent show.BOULDER, Colo. — The Colorado Buffaloes have announced the schedule for the second annual spring football game under Deion"Coach Prime" Sanders.will feature festivities over multiple days including the spring game, a CU football alumni reunion, a talent show and a concert by rapper Lil Wayne.

The spring game will take place on Saturday, April 27, at Folsom Field. A"Prime Time Weekend Party" dubbed"The Show" will take place at CU Events Center after the spring game with concert from Lil Wayne.Fans will be able to see the start of the second football season under Sanders on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at Folsom Field for the annual spring football game.

Tickets will be $15 for bowl seating, $25 for Byron White East Club seating, and $5 for students. Students will have the opportunity to get tickets Tuesday, April 2. General ticket sales begin Wednesday, April 3, atDeion Sandersleads long-time supporter Peggy Coppom to kick the football before the team's spring game on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in Boulder, Colo.Lil Wayne will perform at CU Events Center after the spring game on Saturday, April 27.

"The Show: A Prime Time Weekend Party" is being coordinated in partnership with the CU Boulder Program Council. On-campus parking for the game and the concert is $10 for the entire day and must be purchased on-site. Hosted by 5430 Alliance, tickets will be free and will be open to any and all fans, students, faculty and staff.The “Prime Elite Dinner,” a special evening with Sanders is scheduled for Friday, April 26, at the Nerd Wallet Touchdown Club hosted by the 5430 Alliance.
