Coleen Garcia said that she got overwhelmed with doubt and the thought of marriage along with various challenges. “I think that was also the time pumasok lahat ng challenges. Doon pumasok lahat ng duda kapag naging reality na siya.” | via philstarlife
The actress made the revelation at a recently concluded Zoom press conference for her upcoming show“We almost called off the wedding at that time. I didn’t know if I wanted to push through with it or not. Sobrang magulo ang utak ko noon,” she told ABS-CBN News at the mediacon.
She said that she got overwhelmed with doubts and the thought of marriage coming with various challenges then. “I think that was also the time pumasok lahat ng challenges. You ask yourself, ‘Ano ba ‘tong papasukan ko? Tama ba ‘tong decision that we’re making?’ Doon pumasok lahat ng duda kapag naging reality na siya,” she explained.
While she’s been married to Billy for half a decade now, she admitted that their romance has been a “rocky ride” and there are times that she thinks of giving up on what they have. “When you’re married and living together for so long, it’s inevitable that you will clash at some point, especially when you have a baby. There are times when you just want to be alone and you just want to give up,” she confessed.
Billy, however, doesn't ever consider calling it quits with Coleen as an option, even when things get tough. “Not even one time walking away became an option for Billy. That was what got me also to value commitment after we got married.” Coleen tied the knot with Billy in an intimate wedding in 2018 on Balesin Island. They welcomed their first child Amari in September 2020 via home birth.
