THE Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations lauded the decision of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. to allow blended learning modalities to continue in specific areas beyond October 31.'With this new development, Cocopea reiterates its appeal to allow their member schools the flexibility and wide latitude to combine online and other remote learning modalities with in-person classes beyond October 31, 2022.
Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte-Carpio earlier declared that five-day in-person classes will be the priority of the Department of Education .The department mandated all public and private schools to hold full face-to-face classes starting November 2.Duterte-Carpio said that her department will prepare a plan on the possible implementation of blended modality in specific schools and areas with special circumstances, to be reviewed by the President.
