The 2024 edition of the brightly-lit red and white semi-truck will make stops at BCIT on Nov. 27 and Town Centre Park on Dec. 19.

Metro Vancouver residents will soon bear witness to a giant red semi-truck covered in twinkling lights roaming through the region that's as iconic as the figure sipping a soda on the side.

Coca-Cola's 2024 Holiday Caravan is making stops in Burnaby and Coquitlam as part of its trip around the Lower Mainland starting this month.Burnaby Coquitlam This year, the tour is in partnership with the Canada's Kindest Community Contest, according to a news release. The campaign, a partnership between Coca-Cola and Community Foundations of Canada, encourages residents to share stories of kindness for a chance to win a $50,000 donation for a local nonprofit.

"The Holiday Caravan was born from an opportunity to spread optimism and share joy in communities coast-to-coast," added Todd Parsons, CEO of Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited. "By uniting the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan and Canada's Kindest Community Contest, we connect the joy of the holiday season with making a meaningful difference in the communities where we operate.
