ClubsNSW has assigned an interim chief executive after the organisation's former boss was fired over attacking Premier Dominic Perrottet's faith.

The new CEO backed the industry sentiment and said clubs were needed to provide community facilities and support critical to both regional and metro regions across the state. Ms Faulkner has been with the company since 2018 and also holds the position as President of Ramsgate RSL. “She possesses the right combination of integrity, compassion and intelligence that is well suited to leading a large and complex organisation like ClubsNSW,” he announced in a statement on Thursday.
