Cloud seeding may be expanded if necessary, says deputy minister

CLOUD-SEEDING operations in Sarawak and Selangor will be extended to other states if the smog worsens, said Deputy Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Minister Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis today. However, she said if conditions, such as wind direction, were unsuitable, the operations would not be undertaken as they would be ineffective.
