Here is this week's cleveland.com high school girls volleyball Top 20.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The longer a season goes, the harder it is to remain undefeated. That adage was proven this past week in girls volleyball.
Last week, five of the teams ranked in the cleveland.com high school girls volleyball Top 20 had unblemished records — Lake Catholic, Wadsworth, Avon Lake, Archbishop Hoban and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. However, this week only No. 1 Lake Catholic and No. 5 Hoban remain among the unbeaten. As such, there is lots of movement in the rankings this week. The top four remain the same, but after that there are several changes. Much of the movement involves teams from the Suburban League — both the American and the National Division — as they continue to knock off each other.
